'Bud Tree' is out now

26/04/2024

A summery song about innocent youth with themes of love, friendship and hopes for the future, 'Bud Tree' is sure to make you smile. Catchy bass, melodious lead guitar and stunning vocal harmonies make for a light, breezy feel, reminiscent of summer days spent exploring the woods and swimming in the sea. The song has a 1960s feel, and features acoustic guitar and jangly tambourine. The lyrics are about two best friends who would meet under their favourite tree. Amy was inspired by the Isle of Wight's rural beauty and rich cultural heritage when writing, and the song pays tribute to the town of Ryde where she grew up.
